The Omaha Warehouse – The Gateway to the West

Omaha has long been a major transportation hub, and its early success as a Nebraska warehouse district helped establish it as the “Gateway to the West.” Its rich history of banking and finance is evident today. Warren Buffett, known as the Wizard of Omaha, heads his Fortune 500 company, Berkshire Hathaway, out of the city.
