What is Wetpour Surface?
Wetpour Surface is a high quality, impact-absorbing rubber surfacing system which can be installed in a huge variety of colours. It consists of two layers, the base layer is constructed from SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) granules bonded with a polyurethane binder whilst the top layer is EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Modified) rubber granules. It is mixed on site and poured wet, hence the name.
It is very durable and requires minimal maintenance. Regular sweeping and brushing off plants, debris etc will keep the surface looking fantastic. It can also be rejuvenated with a specialist product to restore the colour and surface texture.
Can wetpour be repaired if damaged?
If you have a small crack or tear in the surface, these can be repaired using a rubber repair kit. These kits contain a specialized adhesive that will bond the damaged area back together and allow it to regain its structural integrity.
